Title: The Journey 山间寻旅

THE JOURNEY is a project we done for a Cultural and Creative design competition. our team designed a traditional Chinese balance labyrinth based on a cave painting in Mogao Grottoes cave 217. The original cave painting tells a story about how people overcome difficulties while traveling in the mountains with the help of God. The balance labyrinth simulates the trip that you have to carefully control the buttons to make the ball travel along the route and get away from the traps. I’m mainly responsible for the poster design, which tells the story from the traveler’s perspective instead of the god’s perspective in the original cave painting.

基于敦煌莫高窟217窟的壁画平衡迷宫设计以及海报设计，再现了在神明帮助下攻克重重难关行于山水之间的故事，意在“山穷水尽疑无路，柳暗花明又一村”。
